Warhammer Online Collector’s Edition: Unboxed

I would have been happy with the SE of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, but silly Gamestop gave me (and thousands of others) CE pre-order codes.

Fully aware of the situation, Mythic turned the other cheek and allowed the legions of unworthy players (and probably unwashed) to take advantage of the CE head start program but restricted the Collector’s Edition content (special avatar heads, in-game quests, titles, and other nonsense) until a proper CE retail key was validated.

In other words, you can get into the club with a fake ID, but you can’t get into the VIP room without a pass.

For the sake of completeness, I started hunting for a CE edition of the game.  This task proved fruitless until luck finally smiled upon me.  It’s a long story that involves a sandwich, a paper clip, an iPhone, and definitely not eBay!  True story.
